I see some of u got working but i cant get past the "incomplete installation" error :(

i am using wine version 1.1.32 but cannot figure how to upgrade to 1.1.33

Grab the PPA repository from here

https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-wine/+archive/ppa


then do

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade


That should resolve your problems :)

ok i upgraded to that bu am still getting the incomplete installation" error

and this isnt cracked either i bought the game retail the night it came out :(

I'm getting the same error, I followed these steps http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=18348&iTestingId=46479

Let me know if you get it work and post how you did it.

I might have to end up using a no-cd patch but i dont wanna cause i afraid it gonna mess up my account but o well if it gets it working under the o so famous linux ill take the risk ;)

What is the no cd patch?

Bassicly it emulates the disc when u dont need it and patches some seam files etc..

where do you get the no cd patch and how do you apply it?

Well i cant use no-cd patch cause will muck up my steam so cant do that back to xp for now to play my game but once a working fix comes out or i get a program called cedega will give it another go :)
