Bell Mobile internet stick

I found presets to set it up with the dial-up number but how do I activate it, to get the the internet working? I am in Canada.

I have a Dell mini 10 if it matters

My problem is that Ubuntu doesn't recignize that the stick is plugged into a usb port therefore doesn't give me the option to connect.

I mannaged to get it to connect twice, once it cut out on me the second I disconnected it purposely
