Has anyone seen any reviews of the lemur yet?

I was hoping to find a vid on youtube but lemur comes back with to many animal hits. Just looking for some independent reviews

I'm not aware of any reviews out there yet. We've only sold several of them so far.

76-ers? Any Lemur owners out there who can chime in?

Definitely interested, I am wondering if 1.3Ghz CPU would be powerful enough for flash (you tube + Hulu) and videos (avi) in general.

Absolutely.

My boss now uses his Lemur exclusively. He runs VMs on it, etc... It really does a nice job. Very surprising system.

If any of you new Lemur users out there can write a review, we'd appreciate it.

I have a Lemur Ultra, and I like it a lot.

the good:

In terms of weight, noise level and temperature, I would say it performs quite well. Very quiet, reasonable weight at 4.7 lbs, and the heat generated is moderate and no worse than any other laptop I have used. So far, the keyboard is very good and quit easy to type on--great size for me. Nice clear screen. I also increased it to 4G of ram for a cheap additional cost, it seems like a good deal. When I bought it there was also a free upgrade from 250G hard drive to 640G, so I took that too.

the bad:

Overall, I'd say my complaints are minor. The top, casing around the keyboard, and the track pad do pick up fingerprints really well, but they are removed with a quick rub of the sleeve. So the nice glossy finish goes away with handling, but is returned reasonably easily. I didn't like that the function key for hibernate was placed in between the mute button and the volumne down button. I would have kept those two adjacent and put the hibernate one over. Maybe there is some logistic reason for that.

I'd be happy to take any other questions or if there is anything you want me to test out, I'd be happy to oblige.
