I am trying to do a clean install of Ubuntu 9.10.I do not have any other OS on my hard drive, having wiped it clean with Paragon Disc Wiper. I am trying to install Ubuntu Karmic Koala from The Desktop Ubuntu 9.10 Disc I received in the post this morning. However when the PC reboots from the instalation I am getting this message..ie...

Can anyone help me please? as I am a beginner on this forum and new to Ubuntu.

It would appear that this is a bug (https://bugs.launchpad.net/debian/+source/grub2/+bug/403408). That page seems to have suggestions on how to fix the problem.

If you need help with any of them, please feel free to ask.
