Ubuntu Broadcom Wireless Card Help (Dell E1405)

Hey Guys,

So I just recently installed Ubuntu 9.10 (64bit) on my Dell Inspiron E1405.


I tested it with the Live CD first, and everything worked correctly, including my wireless card.

However, after installing the real version on to my laptop, my wireless card driver's did not automatically work OOTB....and instead are not working at all!

Anyone have any experience or can refer me to any write-ups to help me figure out whats up?

New details:

The wireless cars is a: BCM4311


Also, everything WORKED including wireless when I did the Live-CD, but wireless does not work after installing.

Please let me know if anyone can help me out please.
