I am new to Ubuntu. I have installed 9.10 from CD into a Virtual Box on my iMac, running 10.6.2.
24" screen with ATI Radeon HD2600 Pro with 1920x1200 desktop. 2GB memory, 500GB disk. 512MB allocated to Virtual Box with 100GB disk space.
Ubuntu is displaying in a 800x600 window which looks silly on my screen. I wish to run Ubuntu in a 1920x1200 window. I have downloaded the Linux driver from ATI but it will not install, error message saying gedit cannot detect the character coding.
I need help, in simple language please. I find it very difficult to use Ubuntu in such a small window.
