Ok, i have enabled internet sharing using firestarter. My setup goes cable modem == wireless router == macbook running Ubuntu(wireless connection) ==xbox 360 hooked to ethernet port I connect to xbox live just fine. i have the right ports forwarded so that i get an open NAT on xbox live. The problem comes when i am playing games i get lag spikes about every 2-3 minutes for some odd reason and dont know where to begin to diagnose this problem and im looking for some help. I searched the forums and found that there are some issues with ubuntu and wireless connections but i dont want to just start installing random drivers and make the problem worse. Has anyone else had success clearing up this issue. I am sure its a ubuntu problem since when i switch to the OSX partition i do not encounter this problem on the same hardware. BTW i am using a 1,1 macbook.
