Struggling with HDMI out. I've played with quite a few things, but I'm worried that I'm missing something reeeeally obvious. I've seen quite a few posts referring to the Sound Preferences dialog that is in Ubuntu (Well, Gnome, I guess'. I have it on the 9.10 laptop that I'm typing this from.
But it doesn't seem to be present in my 9.10 Mythbuntu install with thee default xfce desktop.

I'd rather not install Gnome, as I've seen people reporting problems with that. Surely it's just hidden somewhere???

Anyone? Please?

Thanks,

Simon

YES!!!

Thankyou thankyou thankyou.

At first, I thought it was anothetr flop, as the sound in Myth disappeared. But I went in to the sound setup and changed it from Alsa:HDMI to Alda:default, and hey presto, sound in Myth, Firefox and Boxee.

Now all I've got to do is find where BBC iPlayer went from the Boxee sources list. One for another forum I think.

Did I say thank you?
