I've been itching for a new laptop and I was so excited when I visited the system76 site a couple of days ago and found they added new models to their line and then I finally made the decision to order the Lemur and the Meerkat. But now I'm disappointed that I can't order them. I was hoping I could order it using my international credit card (Mongolian) and ship it to my relatives it the states (VA) so they can ship it to me (Mongolia), like i always do on amazon.
Anyone have any suggestions? It seems system76 doesn't do paypal either. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

We currently only accept credit cards that support U.S. Address Verification Standards (AVS).
Occasionally, we can manually run other cards. But in your case, you would have to add an alternate shipping address to your card, and we would have to verify that it has been added. And since we don't speak Mongolian, etc... we would have no way to do that.
Your best bet would be to have the relative in the U.S. purchase the computer and then send it to you. Then, you could reimburse them.
Also, please know that we cannot provide hardware support outside of the U.S. and Canada. So if something went wrong with your system, we would not be able to fix it across international boundaries.
NOTE: I'm sure some folks will have some criticisms of these limitations. But, unfortunately, until we are able to expand internationally, that's just where we are. Hopefully we will expand soon.

Thanks for the quick reply. It looks like my best option would be to send the money to my relatives via western union or such services and have them order it.

Just realized I never think about hardware support. I guess I'm just not used to the concept. So don't worry about some guy complaining about hardware issues from the other side of the planet.

I wonder how amazon does it.
