I've succesfully installed Stata on Wine, though I need the isstata.100 file in order to run it, could someone help with this file? thanks!

Why did you install it through Wine? There is a Linux version of Stata. A Stata 11 license works on any platform. For Stata 10 and earlier you can change your license (for free I believe) from Windows to Linux.

This is al older thread... I wrote to stata inc. requesting to have my license changed from win to linux. I never got a response.

Maybe your mail got lost? I have dealt with them quite a few times in the past and they usually respond within a day. Just try again (service@stata.com). The convenience of having Stata for Linux as opposed to running it under Wine is really worth it.
