View Full Version : [ubuntu] ekiga sound not working

I run ubuntu 9.10 32 bit on Dell inspiron 1501.
I have a problom with Ekiga and audio. I used every device for the audio setting in Ekiga but in any case i canīt hear audio, only some rare (croacking) noises. Skype worked out of the box from the beginning. Ekiga donīt.
Anyone can help me ???

Forward ports 5060 and 1720 in your home router

Frontal mic doesn't work. Plug an external mic instead.

I am having a problem since upgrading to 9.10 With Ekiga 3.2.5
I am not getting any reasonable input level on the external mic, I have played with the audio setting , setting all to MAX and still it is very, very soft. This was all working in 9.04

Any ideas ?
