smokin guns sound

I just finished downloading smikin guns from playdeb.net and i started to play the game, and the sound is all messed up. Just like in another post i made about the sound in assaultcube. its like a cracking sound i would say.

Does anybody have a solution to my problem?

Try search a thread on UF about replacing/changing audio engine. The default Pulsaudio can/may make trouble for some people.

I encountered the same problem with Smokin Guns after upgrading to Karmic on x64. The best solution I could come up with was to use the beta version of Smokin Guns for x64. You can go here (http://www.smokin-guns.net/viewtopic.php?t=1959) to get it However it did not fix everything. Now sometimes the sound completely drops out and when I try to exit the game it freezes. If I start the game immediately after logging in, it works just fine.
