It seems I am not alone in making this statement, but it feels like Ubuntu has gone somewhat down hill after Hardy. I believe the main reason is too many new features and packages are trying to be squeezed in to compete with Microsoft, Apple and other flavours of Linux. For me personally, I would like to save Lucid!!! While LTS releases normally have packages selected for stability over features, I think there should be a feature freeze on the entire Lucid release and the next six months should be devoted to cleaning up the heap of problems that Intrepid, Jaunty and now Karmic have caused. So, I ask you, the Ubuntu community, what you think? Am I somewhat right with these statements? Or do you think it is personal bias towards Hardy and prior releases. So, please cast your vote.
