Are there any repositories that have 0.21 packages for Ubuntu 9.10?

All I would like for now is a plain vanilla frontend for my desktop (just nuked Gentoo in favor of Ubuntu 9.10) that will talk to my existing backend until Newegg Santa comes with the 1TB hard drive I need to back up my backend machine before nuking Gentoo and putting Ubuntu 9.10 Server on it. (Although by the time Newegg Santa arrives I probably will also need to wait until a lull in programming that the backend needs to record.)

I don't believe so.

Workaround so far seems to be MythTVFS-Fuse + gxine. (MPlayer AC3 out is broken)

Can't delete recordings that way, but I still have a 0.21 frontend in the next room over.

Turns out it's possible to do this with the Avenard repos and some package holds in Synaptic. You have to be careful with update-notifier though, as it doesn't respect package holds.

Worked for about 3 weeks until I was able to upgrade the fileserver.
