Hi, I've been looking for months for a way to run ubuntu in my macbook 2.1 (GMA 950, 2 ghz Core 2 Duo) with an external display via dvi out.
Running xrandr and turning off the internal display makes the external display (a cinema display) going out of sync.
I use the macbook as my main computer so I really need the cinema display for working.
Is there any way of making the external display work while turning the internal off?.
I think this is a very old bug with no solution, but I hope I'm wrong.
Thanks in advance.
