I wrote a long message which got eaten up. Apologies for terseness.
Dell Mini 10v. Ubuntu 8.04 (Dell's).
emacs + slime + gcl
...
Error: There is no package name with the name CL.
Help? I set up my .emacs a suggested here : http://akoumjian.blogspot.com/2007/10/clisp-in-emacs-using-slime-on-ubuntu.html
Edit : Ah. I need to allow the yahooapis.com for this forum to work.
I did edit my .emacs to fit the fact that I'm using gcl and not sbcl... Which I couldn't find, and made me sad.
