View Full Version : [SOLVED] Triple Boot with 2 linux distros and Leopard?

I was wondering a triple boot with Mac OSX Leopard, Ubuntu 9.10 and another Linux distro (probably Fedora, Arch or Ubuntu 8.10) would be possible.

My current partition layout looks like this:
135062
sda2 = Leopard
sda3 = Ubuntu /
sda4 = Ubuntu Swap
sda5 = Ubuntu /home

I want to install the other Linux distro in the unallocated space, but am not sure if it would be possible. I tried installing Fedora in the space but got an error about /boot not being on one of the first four partitions. If I try to install Ubuntu 8.10 (or maybe Arch) in the empty space am I going to get the same error?

Thanks.

[EDIT] Solved. For anyone wondering how to do a Mac + 2 linux distros/versions see here (http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=7477957&postcount=16)
