For me it has to be the linux port of NeverWinter Nights, runs 10x better than on xp on the same machine!!

favorite?

warsow will always be my favorite because of how well the gameplay is balanced. quake live is something I've played more recently and urban terror is the game we at UGN have been playing most often together.

Grid Wars 2, but it does not run on my Karmic installation at the moment, it ran fine on 9.04 though.

Neverwinter Nights has been my favorite game for 7 years, and I'm still enjoying Gaming Gooness on my Ubuntu machine with it.

Free games: Wesnoth, Globulation, Warzone, Freeciv. I wish I could play Glest for more than 6 minutes before getting waxed by the AI...

Dominions 3! Costs a fortune, relatively speaking, but second to none if you're into that sort of game.
