I have been trying to find a way to network my Ubuntu laptop to my Xubuntu desktop. I want to backup the laptop to the desktop so that I can do a fresh install of Ubuntu 9.10 on my laptop. I have Xubuntu 9.10 on my desktop. I have the Xubuntu desktop wired to my router and Ubuntu laptop is wireless. I have found a lot of help for Ubuntu to Windows and Xubuntu to Windows but who gives a hoot about that? Any methods that don't require the terminal will be more helpful because I have yet to achieve the "Super Guru" status with Ubuntu.
If anyone can help, then please reply.
Thanks

The methods for *Ubuntu > Windows or Windows > *Ubuntu will also work for *Ubuntu > *Ubuntu. Yes, SAMBA will work, etc.
