Hello everyone. I just signed up for XM Radio Online. Guess what, after signing up I see that the service is not compatable with Linux. It seems like the streaming service used Windows Media Player. Well I have Totem in Firefox, yet it is still not working. I called XM about it and they could not help me at all. Any ideas? Has someone else tried this and made it work?

Supposedly, this plugin will work for firefox:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/446

If that doesn't work, have a look at this thread:

Fantastic job, thank you very much. My home XM radio broke and Circuit City went out of business, so I could not get it replaced under warranty...and XM said in a nutshell "oh well, sorry". So I dropped the radio from my plan and got the $3 a month online package. Thank you...the first link made it all work. I am one happy music listener now.
