Since there are a zillion topics on Xgl, compiz, etc. could you please make a subforum for it?

Hmmm.

I'm not sure we'd need a separate subforum for xgl/compiz... we don't even have one for X... hmmm.... we'll have to toss around some ideas about this for the future.

Good point. So there's a zillion XGL threads here? XGL_threads^10 are not even half of the amount of xorg threads we have.

The dapper forum gets drowned in topics about XGL and compiz etc that we all know will _not_ be a part of (supported) dapper.

Please make a separate forum for the XGL stuff, so we can concentrate on Dapper in the Dapper forum!

xorg is a core component in Dapper.
Xgl is not part of Dapper. (It just needs dapper to run)

Dapper needs a lot of love now, please let us focus on problems in Dapper in the Dapper forum! Please make a Xgl forum!

Of course, Xgl is great, and it is great that Xgl makes more people try Dapper :)

At this time, we will not be creating a subforum for Xgl/compiz related matters; although that may change in the future.

Thanks for the answer.

"At this time," - well it is _now_ that we need it, not after Dapper is released :)

Do you understand my point that all these Xgl posts destroy the usefulness of the dapper forum? We really need a (clean) dapper forum to discuss dapper problems.

how about an eye-candy forum?
