black screen on toshiba after latest upgrade

On a Toshiba Satellite A300 after the latest upgrade on Ubuntu 9.10 I have black screen and no keyboard/mouse response.
I tried to load on recovery, all fine but when I start X then no way other than power off.
It was working perfectly till few minutes ago :(

The problem is not on the upgrade but on the headset plugged in! How to report this bug?

I was too quick. It's not the headset jack, it is just .. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't! Without any logic rule.. and I tried memtest it seems memory is ok!
