Spore on Linux

I have Spore, and I want to get it to work on my Ubuntu 9.10 computer. The installer works fine, but running the actual program produces errors. I am running with Wine 1.1. Does anyone know how to get this working? Ask for more information if you need it.

I believe Spore is one of the games Cedega ( http://www.cedega.com/ ) advertises as working. Although you may want to check out winehq's appdb to see if it will work with just wine. http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=13652 says it will work with a noCD crack.

Yes, I have checked the app list on wine. It does, in fact, say that I can run Spore on my computer, but I am not sure as to how to do a no CD crack.

Try googling "spore no cd crack". It'll be the same one you would use for windows.
