View Full Version : [ubuntu] Nothing shows up in the taskbar...

Everything i launch, doesn't show up in the taskbar(or bottom panel).I can't restart at the moment because i'm downloading something important to me.Is there any fix for this?

right click on the bottom "taskbar" which is called the Gnome Panel, and choose Add to Panel, then choose Window List and click Add.

Thanks, that worked, but i clicked add to panel on the wrong place, so it starts on the most right part.how to remove it?

The Window List should have a little handle or anchor thing (sorry, don't know the correct term) to show where it is on the panel. Right-click on this, and a menu pops up. Make sure that the "Lock To Panel" option is cleared. Pick "Move" from the menu. The Window List will follow the mouse to wherever you want it on the panel (don't hold the button, just move the mouse, and click again when you want to drop the app). Unlock any other panel apps which are in the way, and they will automatically step aside. That menu also has a "Remove" option, for any panel apps that you don't need.

Did that, thanks.But now i need help, i'm looking for an "Crux" icon theme, my current theme needs it to run properly, any help?
