Hi there
how would i get battlefield 1942 and operation flashpoint to run under ubuntu and is there any decent drivers for a GeforceFX520 128MB graphics card

All (not very old) nvidia cards use the same driver. It's in the repos, just search for nvidia in synaptic.

my linux system is not online why do you ppl keep asuming that they are :grin:

Use Method 2.

Now, I assume you have a CD burner, or usb key, external HD, or some other form of sneaker net. If not, you're in for a LOT of typing.

Also, be aware that unless you tell us that you don't have internet on your system, we will of course assume that you do since the VAST majority of people here have it. We also assume you have a monitor, KB, mouse, CD rom, HD, etc... unless you tell us otherwise. The next time you post a thread, it would help everyone else out if you let them know these things up front.
