When I bought my panv3 I didn't get the bluetooth option, is it possible to add that functionality?

It's possible.
But it's very difficult to obtain the necessary wiring harness for the bluetooth module.
Probably the best way would be to go with a IOGear GBU421.
It's low profile, and it works out of the box with Ubuntu.

Not a total fix, but I have found that most Bluetooth dongles from the local big box stores are both cheap and working out of the box. I own a Kensington 33348 (http://us.kensington.com/html/9403.html) which works right off the bat with no headaches. It's about 1/4th the size of a typical Wifi dongle, so it is not a big deal to attach at all - super tiny. Works with 8.04 thru 9.10 Ubuntu 64/32bit.

Thanks, I was hoping to use a bluetooth mouse without a receiver sticking out. I think I'll stick with my vx nano for now, its' receiver is already about as small as you can get.

Right on. Yea, I am really a dongle kind of guy anyway. Best of all, if something is not working...it's not embedded! :)
