Fully updated x32Jaunty_9.04:

Running AMD-965/msi-790_gd70/BFG_9800-gtx+: liteon_BR/dvd:

Prior to installing the NV_180.47 vid-driver I was able to view WWW & various DVD-movie graphics; slow/poor display quality of-course. Switching from the VESA to NV_driver vastly improved WWW graphics.

This evening I flipped in a movie_DVD ... several in fact: the first few play_attempts failed giving me the error <data flow error>. Attempting to play previously played DVDs I get a shadowy grey screen with no movement.

AFAIK the only difference is the graphics driver -- 180.47 which is suggested and enabled in UBUNTU setup. Googling I found no record of such an issue. Suggestions ?
