View Full Version : [ubuntu] burning ubuntu image file and installing

Hi all,

i have been trying for one week to install ubuntu 9.04 but could not do it.
i have downloaded the ubuntu 9.04 from ubuntu site.

when i try to install it, the system is getting hanged while it showing message "creating virtual disk space " or some thing similar .

i tried for the boot cd for one week but helpless.

please some one privide me how can i get rid of this problem.

i need this for installing gstreamer.

please help me.

Have you been using other versions of Ubuntu or something else??

So, how were you trying to install, and what did you boot from to do it?

I'm unclear what you mean - you were helpless?
-it was hopeless?
What happened - you had a bootable CD, but it wouldn't boot, or you tried to download the bootable CD and couldn't get it?
