What should be a perfectly valid username "taglass" is rejected because a substring of said username is profanity. Isn't that taking it a little far? I couldn't find mention of this policy anywhere on the site, and only figured it out through trial and error. Could you at least document it in one of the FAQs, so that the next guy that comes along with the same problem doesn't spend 30 minutes trying to come up with a valid username?

No, that would make it too easy. However, you could have probably managed to slip TAGL@SS by though. ;)

I wasn't really asking how to get around the system, but instead noting that the system should be documented. Thanks for the suggestions though.

I am, but not under this id. I believe I'm taglass over there. I really hope you're not the guy I told last year to ask for a refund on his 24x7 support contract. :)

Haha!

No, I was just curious, that's all.

I searched taglass to see what it could also mean, and the suse forum came up.

Welcome to the forum.
