No, they wont, you need to make a new forum account.. Nothing can be put onto your new account.

You are wrong ( read further ).
@ OP: Basically, if you make a request in Resolution Center (http://ubuntuforums.org/forumdisplay.php?f=123) and add the list ( 5 ) of usernames you would want to have, someone ( mod ) will change it for you. Another option - PM someone who's red :D

That information is incorrect. Just go to the 'Forum feedback & Help' section, then go to the 'Resolution Center', open a new thread and present your case.

Oh.. Sorry :D.. I saw someone else's thread and the admins denied it and they were redirected to THIS (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1178721&highlight=forum+usernames) thread :D

Thread moved to Forum Feedback & Help.
From the FAQ:
Can I change my username?
No. Usernames can not be changed - dashes can not be added, lowercase cannot be made uppercase, etc. However, you may choose to create a new account and then request that we disable the original one. The only exceptions to this are extreme cases, such as when a user has been harassed by another user or when the username contains the member's email address or real name.
Note: If you do make a new account, you will have to transfer all information yourself, as we will not do this for you. Also, we can't transfer your statistics (beans, account age and the like) to the new account.

Instead of guessing, just point out the forum faq. To quote...

Even if you did that, there's nothing that can be done. Only admin's can change usernames :)

Well, in most cases, mods will PM ( or any other kind of reminder ) admins ( I hope you guys talk to each other ? :D ). Regarding username changes - I've seen a couple of guys requesting and receiving this service .. are there any exceptions ?

Well that's true, we do indeed talk to each other. So I guess I have a moot point :)

You can only change your username under special circumstances. Such as:
Changing it because you used personal information (your real name, e-mail address, etc).
Changing it to stay consistant with your launchpad account.
You can NOT change your username just because you want to.

Its a case by case basis .
