View Full Version : [ubuntu] Ubuntu 9.10 - One Pre-Installed - How to Configure it to my One Account
November 1st, 2009, 01:31 PM
So I signed up for my Ubuntu One account on the website, but the software on my PC has never prompted me to set up any kind of login credentials to ensure that it is connecting to my account, and the files do not replicate onto my online storage. When I open the One window in Nautilus and hit the Connect button it just sits there at "Connecting". Help? I just installed 9.10 and it came with the One software pre-installed.

Mark this thread as solved or delete it please, I just restarted for some updates and it finally decided to ask me to log in and register this PC when I opened Ubuntu one, it appears to be working now. Sorry to waste forum space.

Hi, I'd just say thanks, cause your solution of rebooting actually saved me quite some time searching on the net for the solution to the problem. It seems that you're not the only one with this problem. The dialog to add my computer didn't pop up either until I rebooted.
