hi. i installed 9.10 on a computer using the alternate install cd because the live cd wouldn't boot. then i tried to boot for the first time and it didn't work. finally i realized that the problem was my ati radeon hd3450 graphics card. i switched that with my older one and it booted up fine. heres my question... did the installer configure ubuntu for the hd3450 and therefore wont work efficiently with my older one? or doesn't it make a difference? can you switch video cards around in ubuntu and not wreck anything?
thanks

For your card, you will probably need to install Catalyst 9.10 from the repositories.

ATI jumped through hoops to get it ready for Karmic.
