My PC updated to the RC version of 9.10, and now I cant launch Blender, Cant anyone please help?

Is there a way to return back to 9.04?

Have you tried to download blender from the blender site and start the blender executable directly from the extracted folder ? (no need to install it)

I tried many different approaches; it simply refused to start until I removed Ubuntu One!
Now its working a treat!

Thanks for your suggestion anyhow.
