I've been ripping some DVD's (not in Myth), and would prefer to just go straight to untranscoded MPG files, but I've had a few issues finding something that will work reliably. In the meantime I'm just ripping straight to ISO.
I use internal player for everything. The problem though, is that there doesn't seem to be a 'save position and exit' option for .iso files, and although if I press OK while watching a recording it will say 'Position Saved', if I stop and restart it starts from the beginning again.
I assume that it is to do with the way ISO's are handled which precludes this, but I'd be very happy if someone could prove me wrong.
