this post linked is off topic, I've reported it two times, no response, no deletion/etc. Are you guys playing favorites or something?

Fine, go ahead and laugh, I reported it a while ago, but I can't remember when. But I did do it twice, *shakes head*
I'm just annoyed at the guy that's all.

No one is laughing . We appreciate the time it takes to report posts . However you have to appreciate we receive many per day . This site is very busy and the staff have thousands of posts per day to deal with. We ask for as much detail as possible to make it easier to trace problematic posts or threads.
Now in your case I have traced the post in question and see no real issue with it. I t will guess that other staff looked at it at the time you reported and decided no action was needed.

Even though it's off topic? Yeah, great staff you got there.

The site's rules are overly strict as it is. Why the heck would you want moderators to delete every post that they (or you) think is slightly off-topic? Especially since the topic was about labels and that fellow posted something about labels.

I honestly don't see how it's off-topic. The OP was sharing CD/DVD covers, and the post you referenced was someone deciding to share CD labels. They go hand-in-hand.

Because they are being helpful? Why should they not be here?
It sound like you are having a bad day, try some hot chocolate and a good book. :)

Don't really like books anymore to be honest. I'll leave them alone from now on, and won't report posts from now on.

You seem to be deliberately provoking the staff. Do you have a specific agenda or just tempting fate? You were given a logical response to your question and yet you continue to waste their time attempting to initiate a confrontation.
Should you continuing down this path, don't be surprised when you find yourself in a position of compromise. Might I suggest you simply - "Let It Go".

I've banned myself plenty of times other places, and don't regret it. IE: Wikipedia.

Problem is, I used to run my own forum, and I had strict rules of off topic-ness. It's a bit hard to get out of that habit.

You asked , we answered.
I am closing this now as there is little point in going any further with it
