I want to start by saying that I love DVD::rip, it's great, and after nearly 2 years of daily use this is my first real problem, (and its likely my fault).
Unfortunately, with my last few rips it has miss read the dvd's aspect ratio (easy to fix though, just open up the *.rip file, find the line that says aspect ratio, and change the value), and I've been getting the horizontal lines that one would associate with a telecene problem. I've tried all the de-interlacing, pre and post comression and have had no luck.
I have also, in the process corrupted one of my *.rip files leaving me with a bunch of vobs that I can't convert.
I'm hoping that anyone who has encountered any of these problems, or something similar could throw me some suggestions.
