unresponsive touchpad

This has occured about 3 times on my Dell Mini 10v. I turn it on, and the touchpad is completly unresponsive. I turn it off and on, and the touchpad works.

Sporadic problems are always a pita to trobleshoot. I'm thinking that it may be something in the kernel

Probably - it seems to be a regular issue. It's happened a few times - i've had my mini10 since March and it's happened a bit.
It's probably not software, unless its a conflict between several pieces of software that are open at the same time, or something like that. It's so sporadic that it's probably hardware - a(nother) dell screwup.
