I have had major problems getting wine to work. When wine loads my monitor turns itself off.

Yep, Winmx works great to. If you would like an icon for WinMX I made one I could send to you. Also Ares a fasttrack client works well to. You have to use the Ares Lite editon though. Currently making an icon for that to.
