I installed Fluxbox and ATerm locally (meaning that I was sitting in front of my servers monitor), and ATerm worked fine, but I can't be sure if it still does.
Then I left home, and tried to VNC into my server, and everything else seems to be working fine, but ATerm does not. When I click ATerm from menu nothing happens. I was able to install XTerm through SSH, but it has some problems too: when I try to open Nano it gives me only black window, and same happens with all other terminal applications too, and I'd rather use ATerm.
I go to see my server every once a week, but I would like to get it working sooner if possible.
I use Ubuntu Server 9.04.

Yesterday I reinstalled Aterm a couple of times but it's still not working when I use VNC. However I asked my friend to go check if it works at all, and he said that it does indeed work when using it locally. So my quess is that there is some compatibility problems with Aterm and VNC?
...But here seems to be no one who would be having similar problems, so I quess I have to go whine elsewhere or figure it out by my self...
