Ubuntu Testimonials and Experiences has several valid threads, but whether valid or not, this subforum seems to be an easy start to flame wars and negative comments.

I believe that people should be able to say what they would like to say, but it's troubling how many posts here are problematic ones. The backyard's gone now because people abused their right to post there, and I really believe that people are abusing this forum.

All of the mods/admins are doing a wonderful job putting an end to the flame wars, but firefighters are unnecessary when there is no fire, if you know what I mean.

As much as I dislike trolls and fanboys, silencing people is not the answer. Let them vent a little. If you try to suppress it in one place it will just spread elsewhere in the forums. It's better to contain a 'fire' to one room than have it burn the whole place down.
