What are the pros if i don't upgrade from jaunty to karmic

hi,
now i have a charm running jaunty with ext4 FS.
im little bit worried to upgrade to karmic once it is released,
since iv done much modification for the system and fear i might loose it during an upgrade,

what are the things i really going to loose with staying with jaunty?
