...something similar to Windows System restore feature? I hate windows but i must face thats a great feature. Ive been using ubuntu for over 6 months, i this morning i had a crash, and i had to fix it myself. A feature like Windows system restore would had been helpful!

There is not a specific utility but there is a way to make a backup manually to restore your system. I will provide you the link.
