Hey guys, I just re-installed Linux on my Acer 8930, and I wanted to make my second boot of Vista / Windows 7. Anyways, I think I kind of messed up when was doing the install, because no matter what I do I get an "System Emulation Error : 00) message when I try to run from any Windows installation CD/DVD.

Basically, what I think the problem is, is that I forgot to delete the recovery partition of my past Windows installation, because I seem to always get the option to run Windows (recovery mode) upon boot when selecting OS. When I click it I get a page that I can't exit saying I need to put in a disc, so I dunno, haha.

I think I need some kind of partition editor program so I can clean all this up, and the Kubuntu disc doesn't allow me to save my changes (at least I don't think) unless I actually install it, which I don't need to as I already have it.

Any other tips would be cool, too.

Cheers,
Dave!

GParted has a live cd you can use. I'll find the link.
