Kubuntu w/ KDE 4.3, and maybe an audio fix?

Okay, so I'm running Kubuntu 9.04 with KDE 4.3, and when I open Amarok or Audacious, it kills the audio from Pidgin and all my other Apps.

Is there a reason for this?

Is there a way I can make EVERYTHING in KDE use ALSA?

Because When I put programs on ALSA it seems to work.

I just freaking owned Kubuntu... I had to INSTALL PulseAudio because it was using ALSA

That's the link I used to fix it.

Now it's all good.

I got Audacious, and Pidgin and everything working..
