It is odd but not peculiar.
It is addictive and illegal, but not habit-forming and unlawful.
It is colloquial but not familiar.
It is correct but not right.
It is not tiny, but little.
It is not without price, but priceless.
And so on....
This is an old one, but fun, and I hope a few of you out there know it so this thread can get going. If this has been done before I apologize. Oh, and if you know it (or figure it out), please don't give it away--half the fun is watching the frustration of newcomers scratching their heads trying to get it. ;)
