How do you get Shake for Linux? I haven't seen it for sale anywhere online. I've read that it's available. Does anyone have it? What's your experience?

" Shake was available for Mac OS X and Linux. Support for Microsoft Windows and IRIX was discontinued in previous versions. On July 30, 2009, Apple discontinued Shake. No direct product replacement has been announced, but some features are now available in Final Cut Studio, such as the SmoothCam filter. " from wikipedia

I was always a little confused as to why Shake was available for Linux. Why that and nothing else? I've seen it boot with the Apple dialog box too. Kinda like a stranger in Linux territory. Was that the only software licensed by Apple that made it to Linux?
