Any suggestions for server hardware you would recommend for use with KVM? I'm planning on choosing hardware the same I would if I was speccing out a VMware ESX server deployment.
I guess biggest question is if we'll have better luck with AMD or Intel. Judging by the KVM guest support matrix (http://www.linux-kvm.org/page/Guest_Support_Status), I would want to roll with Intel if we want to run bleeding edge Windows VMs. My preference is AMD, but I'm not hear to bleed either. Would prefer to go with most supported option.
Biggest requirement. 32bit Windows Server 2003, 32 bit Windows Server 2003 SBS, Windows 2008 64bit. We'll have a few linux guests, but I'm not so worrried about that support.
Thanks!
