Hello,

I have been trying to figure out how to install the square clock wallpaper that shows the current time. It is referenced at this link:

http://rainmeter.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=1473&p=10586#p10586

Even though they give instructions, I cannot understand and I am "all thumbs" when it comes to such sophisticated projects.

If you can point me in the right direction for getting this wallpaper to install, I'd be most greatful.

V/r,
RSA

There are different desktops environments for gnu/linux ubuntu. For windowze there is only the windows desktop environment Gdi+/WinG.

There are many desktop environments on Unix or gnu/linux systems including but not limited to CDE EDE GNOME KDE LXDE UDE Xfce... etc.. If you want a desklet then it is best to get one for your specific desktop.

What desktop are you using ?

If you are using gnome then gDesklets are a good place to get desklets from.

You might have a gnome desktop if you installed ubuntu or kde desktop if you installed kubuntu or an xfce desktop if you installed xubuntu.

Is there a theme manager that can manage themes for gnome, it may be better than manageing several different applications just for one desktop and also I don't want to hijack a thred but how can I can someone make qt apps look like gtk2 apps (see below)?
