I have an old Gateway 8510GZ notebook that I recently installed ubuntu on, after the install I decided to increase the RAM. I have found out that I need to update the BIOS to get it to accept the new RAM. I am having trouble installing the BIOS from the Gateway support site. Any help would be appreciated, already have the RAM, going from 512MB to 2GB. Running 9.04 Jaunty.
