View Full Version : KDevelop unable to compile. New installation.

Hi there,
I have Ubuntu 9.04 NBR installed on my Samsung NC10 NetBook.
I just installed KDevelop using:
sudo apt-get install KDevelop and everything seemed to install fine.
But when I try to compile a Hello World program, it fails, giving the following output:

Can anyone understand what the problem is?
I would try another IDE, but it is KDevelop we will be using for a class I'm starting, so need to get it working.
Any help is much appreciated.

So I have installed an older version of libtool.
Downloaded the tar.gz file of 1.5.26
Then extracted it, entered the directory and entered the following commands:
./configure
make
sudo make install
I then made a new Hello World project, and when I try to build it get this:

It certainly seems to progress further than it did before, but still fails to compile.
If anyone has any ideas, they are most welcome as I need to get this working as soon as possible.
